Anodizing Department
Anodizing is an electrochemical process used to build an oxide
layer on the surface of the aluminium profiles. In addition to
granting profiles an attractive appearance, this layer provides
them with resistance to corrosion due to severe atmospheric
conditions.
Anodizing process is carried out within an installation that
contains pretreatment tanks and others for electric oxidizing.
The department uses the most advanced rectifiers, a water
treatment station and continuous cooling systems.
The profiles are, initially, etched then anodized and
electrolytically colored according to the customer requirements.
Finally, the colored profiles are subjected to a sealing process
so as to give the oxide layer more resistance to corrosion due
to atmospheric conditions and friction, and to provide the
profiles with smooth and beautiful look.
Anodizing process results in producing profiles with different
colors, especially, silver, gold, black and bronze.
